TechDeck FAQ

What is TechDeck?

TechDeck is an AI-powered collectible trading card directory for tech Twitter/X profiles. It transforms your public Twitter/X presence into a stylised trading card, showcasing your online persona, activity, and influence.

How does it work?

  1. Submission: Submit any Twitter/X handle for $3.50. This fee filters for genuine interest and covers operational costs.
  2. AI-Powered Generation: Our AI analyses the profile's data, recent tweets, and linked content to generate a unique trading card, complete with stats, buffs, weaknesses, and special moves.
  3. Directory Entry: Your card is added to our searchable directory, making it discoverable by tags, vibes, and styles.
  4. API Access: Card data is accessible via the TechDeck API for integrations, leaderboards, or trend analyses.
  5. Physical Edition Eligibility: The first 52 profiles will form a limited edition physical deck, turning digital presence into real-world collectibles.

Do I need to use my real name or photo?

No. TechDeck uses only your public Twitter/X data. If your account is anonymous, your card will reflect that. You control what information is publicly available.

Will people be able to find my real identity through TechDeck?

If you've published identifying information online that links back to your Twitter/X handle, it's possible that connections can be made. TechDeck surfaces what's already public; it doesn't uncover private information.

Can I stay anonymous but still get visibility?

Yes. Many users build significant followings under pseudonyms. TechDeck highlights your public activity, allowing you to gain visibility without revealing personal details.

What if I never signed up but see my profile on TechDeck?

TechDeck profiles are generated based on public Twitter/X activity. If you're active and your content resonates, a card might be created for you. You can claim your card to customise it or request its removal.

Where does the information come from?

TechDeck uses AI models to analyse public Twitter/X data, including profile information, tweets, and linked content. It compiles this into a concise, stylised representation of your online presence.

Is this just OSINT?

While TechDeck uses open-source intelligence techniques, its purpose is to benefit you. It organises and presents your public information in a way that enhances your online presence, rather than exploiting it.

I don't want to be found. Should I use this?

No. TechDeck is designed for individuals who want to increase their visibility. If you prefer to remain unnoticed, this platform may not align with your goals.

What if I see my profile on TechDeck but don't want to be included?

If you'd like your profile removed, please contact @loftwah on X to verify ownership. I will always comply with removal requests. If you're blocked, reach out through another channel. I won't unblock if there's a valid reason for the block, but I will still remove your profile upon verification.

Can I opt out permanently?

Yes. Once you request removal and we verify ownership, your Twitter/X handle is added to our permanent block list. This ensures your profile is excluded from TechDeck indefinitely. Neither you nor anyone else will be able to submit your handle to generate a card; attempts will result in an error message indicating the profile has opted out. The only way to be re-added is by contacting us directly via our official Twitter/X account @loftwah to request removal from the block list.

Why is there a $3.50 fee?

The fee serves to filter for genuine interest, cover AI and infrastructure costs, and fund future expansions like physical cards and deeper analytics. It's not about paywalls; it's about maintaining quality and sustainability.

How can I use my TechDeck card?

Did I write this using ChatGPT while riding my indoor bike?

Yes. Got lost in the flow, rode ten minutes longer than planned, and now you're reading this. TechDeck is built with love, legs, and large language models.
